The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy, by Stieg Larsson

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is shocking, and probably my favorite of the three books. Some people have said that they didn't enjoy the third because it was very political, but I enjoyed it still... It was almost like a police chase. It was nice that the second and third of the trilogy connected with each other, but the Vanger family that the first is based around doesn't come up at all in the remainder of the series.

A brutally dark, yet thrilling trilogy. You find yourself rooting for the main character and the underdog!

This was brutal and beautiful and the technology aspects were equal parts fascinating and terrifying.

This is by far the best trilogy I've read in years. I couldn't put any of the books down and would recommend them to everybody. Lisabeth Salander is kick-ass and a much better role model then most young women in fiction (read Bella rom Twilight here).

A disturbing page turner with a very complicated, but interesting protagonist, Lisbeth Salander. Luckily I read this book while on vacation, because once I started, I couldn't put it down.
