Every once in awhile a book comes along that makes reading feel like a fever. This was definitely one of those books, once I was reading it I couldn’t stop and the ending brought tears to my eyes. I highly recommend but please check the content warnings before picking this one up!

It was so good but it was also a lot. It was beautifully written and would be a full 5 stars Truly an incredible dive into desires and the treatment of people by the church. It was super interesting to read about choreomania in a fictional context with actual fact sprinkled in.

if I liked the ending better. It just made me sad and made me worried for the future of the characters which may have been the point but wasn’t my favourite.
