I loved this novel!!!! Very heart-wrenching and beautiful. Many feminist and lqbtq+ themes throughout. I think that it captured the era really well and gave a unique perspective to the time. Excellent read all round.

This deserves a better review than I can write. I only picked it up because I loved studying the dancing plague at university and would have been perfectly content reading an average telling of it, but this was something else. A hot, sticky, glorious masterpiece.
