The thought of Hellboy as a monster fighting luchador is an utterly fun concept to behold and I enjoyed reading this a lot. Our favourite BPRD agent is more than a little down after losing one of his good friends; having quite a bender before being forced to fight this Frankenstein monster.
There were many other creatures involved in this story and I actually enjoyed that. It was a really quick read though; I think this novel could have been longer to be accommodate them.
