I love Barbara Kingsolver’s prose, and ma now a fan of her poetry. This book would be a good companion piece to Margaret Reinkl’s Late Migrations.

Kingsolver’s prose is always stirring, but her verse, coiled with collected potential impact, arrests a reader and leaves her reverberating in perfectly placed grammatical structures and their intended meanings.
Poetic delisciousness.

Loved this collection. Full of nature, life, death (be kind to yourself if you’ve lost a love one, a mom, when reading that section), being a daughter and a mother and a woman. So many beautiful verses and vivid imagery. Already recommended it to a few friends and think so many people would enjoy it.

This one was definitely not for me. I think I need my poetry to be more emotional, less everyday activities and more gripped with the feeling of falling.
