I always forget how fun these girls are. A lot of serious issues were dealt with in this volume (depression, stress, grief) but there was the usual humor to balance it out. I adored the cricket game, it was so adorably funny and I love this little found family they have going on.

Only one volume left!!!!

107/2022 Giant Days 13. John Allison. 112 páginas. Fandogamia.

I've read all of this series at least three times, and I'm always thrilled when a new volume comes out. I love all these characters so much, but it was nice that Esther and McGraw got a lot of focus in this volume, because they're both characters who benefit from development. Esther is so charming that watching her charmed life play out (falling into her dream job?) is always fun, and it's interesting to see McGraw get a bit more emotional depth. That I even enjoyed the cricket based comic speaks to how much fun this series is! It'll be bittersweet to read the final volume.

Thank god that switch in art style was only that one issue. The cricket match would’ve felt so stiff with it. Which, speaking of, I still don’t understand those rules At. All.
