IDK.
It's a topic that should be talked more and I'm thankful this writer did so. I felt exact same thoughts when I was in the hospital last time after the overdose. It's not easy and flowery to get better as the outer world think and I agree with most of the things,
However i didn't like the writing style. It felt like a diary entry of a middle school girl. It's the girl's point of view, but most of the things were described poorly and the scenes also felt so basic. It wasn't something I would normally pick and read, I fimished reading because the book is talking about an important matter. I'm not meaning to disgrace the author's work, but i wasn't satisfied with the writing style at all.

Short Review: This year, as a reader, I wanted to take an attempt at reading more Indie authors whenever I can. This book is free over on Amazon, and is only 43 pages, and so it's a really great option for those of you who want to dip your toes into the Indie side of books.

The story, though short, is decent. A few times, the abuse we see from her parents, seem almost cartoonishly silly. But the message involving suicide is bittersweet, and a more realistic take than I've seen in regards to this topic.

I implore you to give a try. It's not perfect, but it takes an hour at most to read the whole thing.

My heart hurts

I've been there and man, did a lot of this hit home. It reads like a high school story, creative writing maybe.

So honest it hurts

My only complaint about this book is how short it was. Anyone that struggles with depression will be able to relate to Rachel.

The message of this story could have been portrayed in a completely different way, and it would have been way more impactful. The story was too short to connect to, and it could have been told better in a poem format. The writing style was very weak for me and overall was not enjoyable.
