I wanted to like this more than I did. I really enjoyed Jasper’s character and I was looking forward to his story because I’ve met him in previous books. It just felt like he and Alex’s getting to know each other and actual insight into their characters were missing. There was great spice though!

We get the MM combo of orc and human in this one and another facet of the supernatural world is unfolded with plenty of details regarding orcs crammed into a quick read while the greater story arc unfolds. Nervous as things are steadily getting more intense and hopeful that the barista gets his own HEA.

Is it strange that even though I did like Jasper‘s and Alex‘s story that I cared more about the Baristas and Lucifer’s story! 

Like there has to be a backstory for them, right?!

Overall it was good! Humiliation, praising, prima play, the works!! 😆
