This was easily the best book in the series, but I have SERIOUS questions about the logistics of the ending.

Immortal Hearts picks up where the eight book left off, with the impending arrival of Alexander's little sister Athena "Stormy" Sterling. Raven has never heard Alexander mention his little sister before and wonders what else he could be hiding from her. Also, Raven's best friend Becky has just learned of the existence of vampires in Dullsville. Things are surprisingly, normal.
But, as time goes on, Raven begins to realize that she is ready to become a vampire and does not want to wait until after graduation. But, will Alexander feel the same?
I made it to the end of the series!
Other than the arrival of Alexander's sister and a few episodes here and there, not too much happens in this book. It's cute, it's light, and there are vampires (of course). I think I've been as anxious as Raven for her to finally become a vampire.
So, does she eventually become a vampire at the end of the book? I'm not going to spoil the surprise.
I felt as if there could've been a bit more lose ends tied up. Trevor and Raven's relationship (frenemies?) could've been explored a bit more. Throughout the series, Trevor taunts Raven for being an outsider. Meanwhile, he secretly harbours a crush on her. It is really unknown whether Trevor has true feelings for her or if he just does not want her to be with Alexander. It would've been interesting to see a bit more of him in the book.
Other than that, I think that this book has reached its conclusion. There's really not too many more adventures that Raven and Alexander could go on that wouldn't feel like a repeat of the other books. Sometimes it is just best to stop at 9.

The ninth and final book in the Vampire Kisses series. Alexander's sister, Stormy, is coming to Dullsville to visit. Raven is so excited to meet her new sister. But will Alexander finally turn her so she can really be a sister to Raven and eternal mate to Alexander? Fans of the series will enjoy this finale.

Finally! I enjoyed this series but the ending was a tad bit lackluster. I want to know what happens next. How do her parents react? How does she finish school? What do her and Alexander do? Does Stormy stay with them?
