An intriguing storyline does nothing for a work of poorly developed characters.

This is going to be a one and done for me and Noire. This was more crime than erotica, it was well written but I didn't like the story.

Very good book. She should have known better to sleep with that man from the beginning

I read this book years ago. I really couldn't wrap my mind around the plot. Basically she has had a tough life. Her mom was a crack whore who died when she had barely hit puberty. A drug kingpin decides she is attractive and probably a virgin and decides to make her his main chick. He takes care of her and her mentally slow brother. Long story short, she is sexually starved for attention and risks everything to get laid. That's the long and short of it. A bunch of people have to die and she is treated like crap, just so she can have great sex. I guess you can tell I didn't really like the story.

I hated the use of the n-word with the hard r for no damn reason. I also hated the senseless slut shaming. Juicy felt like she was better than these other women because she technically only had sex with one man. However she was deprived the whole book and then hooked up with a few men along her way anyway. Highly entertaining for messiness but this was so problematic.
