This book was my reward for the previous set of challenge books. The middle of this trilogy ended in cliffhangers all over the place. Now I am working through the next set of challenge books and then I will get the finale.

I like space opera and sci fi adventure.

A) Gosh I love Space Opera. Mysterious temporal anatomies, escapes from unsavoury space stations, costume changes, heists, arena battles—

B) Honestly don't know how they're gonna be coming back from that one. That wasn't so much a cliffhanger as a "you've let go of the cliff, you were in freefall, you are impacting in the next second" situation.

It's Legolas! Ha, I think I laughed out loud in book one when Auri refers to Cal as "Legolas" and the picture on the cover of book two (and his description) does make that reference make sense. I think I liked this more than the first book? Rare, as it's usually "middle book syndrome" filler, but here I felt like I already knew the characters and the setting/world, so I could just get into the story. Lots of action. I really SHOULD go straight to the third book, I'll get to it soon.

Can I just say that I absolutely love every member of the squad? Kal and Auri own my hears. They're adorable. Scar is just one bada#s woman. Fin is just one big teddy who is absolutely in love. Zila is great but I still want to know more about her. Tyler, my man, you are one amazing leader.

I enjoyed reading the second book in the trio and I can't wait to continue read the rest of the trilogy.
