The whole premise of this book was bonkers and I loved it. A city with three competing cities you can move between with a thought? A rocket in a fantasy book? I liked seeing Kai and Tara again. I enjoyed the many viewpoints, but it made it harder to stay in the flow while reading.
Moderate: Forced institutionalization
Minor: Body horror and Drug use

I hope someday to write something half as rich in texture as the Craft series. It's at once a deeply compelling world, and a searing allegory. Gladstone does not shy away from the ills of this world, rather these stories could not exist without them. I never want to stop reading this quality of work.
Moderate: Body horror
Minor: Homophobia
