If you’re a big Harry Potter fan and the Wizarding World like me, then you would probably enjoy this book. It is obviously designed to be read by children but I still enjoyed for what it is, a fun an humorous look a the sweets And their appearances in the Harry Potter films.Â

Considering this is supposed to be a scratch and sniff adventure, that feature is weighted heavily in this review. Going off that, this book is just okay. There's not as many of those patches as I'd have thought, given the topic of the book, and some of the choices were questionable. One of the first few was a vomit flavored bean. Is that really something you want to include in a scratch and sniff book?
The illustrations were admittedly very nice. The text was heavily based on the films rather than the books, which was a little disappointing, but in and of itself didn't affect the rating.
Overall, for a book about the smells of a Wizarding candy shop, I was expecting something a lot more impressive.
