What can I say about Slasher Sam? This book was amazing. Like, I was filled with a ridiculous amount of glee while reading it. It was that good.

Slasher Sam is a modern day serial killer who blogs about their victims, how they kill them, and occasionally throws in some fun tidbits about old-school horror films (mostly from the 80s). Slasher Sam reminds me a lot of my friend Mike. That is, if Mike were a serial killer who blogged. Which he's not. I promise. Mike just really likes old horror flicks.

Anyway, Slasher Sam is completely entertaining. Sam's posts are amusing, while also gory and detailed. It places you, the reader, in the direct mindset of Sam, and it also plops you down in the action, even though the kills have already happened. It's so unique and fun.

There's a twist near the end that I had figured out beforehand, but it still made me giddy that the twist was what I thought it would be. I'm easily entertained by these types of things, I suppose.

If you like your horror to be unique, interactive (in a way), and loads of fun while still offering up blood and guts, then give Slasher Sam a whirl. I absolutely loved it, and I highly recommend it.

Five very well-deserved stars!
