Very fast listen, took me about one day because I did a lot of driving. This was CoHo’s first book and I must say I enjoyed it! Catchy story line with characters I cared about.
Layken and her family move from Texas to Michigan after her dad dies. The day they arrive they meet the family across the street - a 9 year old boy who becomes her brothers BFF, and a 21 year old boy who becomes her new love interest. We quickly learn Layken and Will cannot be together, despite their chemistry.
This book is much tamer than CoHo’s more recent books and lacked some of the character development and deeper storylines that more recent works have, but I enjoyed it!

I have no idea why I waited so long to read this book but I’m heart broken and I wish I could read it again for the first time.
I’ll just go and cry myself to sleep

Colleen’s first book ever. Having read so many of her others I can see the growth she’s made as an author. However, this still blew me away! This is YA, but it packed some serious adult punch. She always impresses me with her talent.

I liked it, but I thought Ugly Love and Maybe Someday was way better!

Cute teen fiction. The poetry is the centerpiece of the story.
