I love the premise of humans viewed as the aliens. Like all anthologies, some are better than others and if you're interested in the topic, then there's something for everyone.

There were some stories I really liked, but the last one was the best. Brightened Star, Ascending Dawn. A ship hiding a little child and then saving refugees. It's so good.

Outside the medium of Tumblr blogs - the birthplace of these short fictions - the stories didn't really give me the same feeling that led me to picking up this anthology. An exception to this is A. Merc Rustad's short story which was nothing short of a masterpiece.

It's refreshing to read science fiction stories where the humans aren't the clowns of the universe. We have talents and characteristics that are valuable! How nice to celebrate this. These stories will make you feel good about being human.

It was alright, but maybe it’s just because I’m not that big of a sci-fi fan. Some stories were confusing, with one in particular where I only realised the main characters were human at the end of the story. It was overall not that bad, though.
