Did I enjoy this? SO MUCH.
Would I read it again? 100x over!! So much so I ended up buying the paperbacks for both books even though I have them on my Kindle.

"When she arrived at Katmere Academy, mortal Grace's world turned upside down. Now back at the school, she is haunted by fragments of days she doesn't remember living, as she struggles to understand who, or what, she really is."

Where do I start with this book? Utterly brilliant from start to finish I was just like, woah. Woahhhh. WOAHHHHHHH! Not only does Tracy Wolff tell this next part of Grace's story with such perfect pacing to the chapters, but her introduction of Hudson Vega and the bitterness the Vega brothers have towards each other is done so smartly.
So many great moments in this book. Grace learning about her powers. Hudson being Hudson (I'm 100% team Hudson btw, sorry Jaxon fans). Flints revelation of who he loves to Grace just before the matches. The Character relationship that builds between Grace and Hudson through each chapter is done with such depth and a clear aim from Tracy's writing alone makes the book a thrilling read. I also very much enjoyed the additional 2 chapters from Hudsons perspective. It really gave us another glimpse of him as a character and helped connect with him even more so than before.

Now don't get me wrong, a few cliches and some moments that are very predictable, but throughout you're just waiting for that plot twist. Now, looking back I can see the plot twist coming from a mile off but at first glance, you really don't expect it. There are a few moments in that last 10 chapters you think, "oh maybe this is the plot twist. Or maybe its this, or maybe it's this".
What you also don't expect is that the plot twist you'd thought has already happened was just the tip of the iceberg and it isn't until the very end of the book you find out what the real plot twist is. But not the end as in the last chapter, I mean literally then end.
Literally the last sentence.

And that's literally why I need the third book right now. (also why is April suddenly feeling years away again.)

So all in all, absolutely fantastic addition to the series and I'm so excited to see what happens in the next instalment.

PS:
Also, I can't get behind the Twilight remarks for this series, sure I see some similarities with it but let's be honest, it has TVD feels written all over it and I for one am not complaining at all.
