I have always been fascinated by how ahead of its time the Bloomsbury group was and this book gave me a glimpse into the open relationships that prevailed in this circle of artistic luminaries.

While it started with a sound premise of an age where the attitudes of those in the Bloomsbury set was scorned upon, the book for me lacked direction.  Once I had covered the main characters, their relationships with one another, it became a timeline of who was liaising with who, and who the next student from Oxford would be that would be seduced into the masses.

I hope it does drift away from the timeline, but it all became far too repetitive for an inspirational generation.

This resulted in me ALL CAPS TEXTING friends about the Bloomsbury love triangles.

I knew only the basics and after hearing the whole thing I had very strong opinions that will not be moved!

Want to keep reading more queer history but just not in a nonfiction mood right now
