So nice to finally get back to reading Saga after quite a long break from it. A pretty.. how do I say this.. I don't want to use 'boring' but this volume was a lot less eventful than previous ones, but nevertheless, it was good! Loved it as usual and can't wait to start next chapters.

Spoilers ahead
I think this book was on part with vol. 4. It was really beautifully told this part of the story. The flame reignitig between Marko and Alana, the cool little thing about breaking vows. The will appears again, and he's fat and completely hooked on heroine. I only have 2 little problems with this volume. I think that the realization that The Will should stop caring about dead people and should instead enjoy his time with the living. And the other problem I had was that Marko's mother decided to stay, I can understand why she did it but it would be nice to have her around a bit more. And hazel finally reuniting with her parents is beautiful. One more thing, The Will not killing IV's child was actually clutch because IV is finally not treating Marko and Alana like animals and its really good characters growth.
And finally... Alana is freaking pregnant again Hazel is going to have a little brother /sister.
This volume was 10/10 but a smaller 10 than vol. 4's 10

Just keeps getting better and better. Characters are richer, both new and old alike; same thing can be said of locales. Where the plot is heading, I couldn't even begin to fathom; but, can't wait till the next collected volume in early 2017. And, as always, the artwork is stellar--the characters' emotions, hopes, dreams, desires and losses leap off the page. Though, if you're not into the saga of Saga by now: avoid.

Felt like Marko and Alana weren’t in this much, but overall slowly getting back to the tone I liked in the books. And now that the gang’s together so to speak, I have high hopes for the next volume.
