Definitely not the ending I expected, and for that I’ll give this book 5 stars. Loved the dual timelines with authors in both the past and present. I was also a fan of the setting: small midwestern town where everyone knows everyone and everything that’s going on inside of it… or so you think!

Loved the pace and twists in this book! The character development was deep enough but still plot driven. The only reason for the rating not being a 5 is the ending.
