This series just keeps getting better and better!

This book starts off with our hero Arrow on a rescue mission to bring back an abducted little girl. Little did he know that this little girl is with a woman named Morgan who has been missing for a year.

I am IN LOVE with the couple in this story! The chemistry between Morgan and Arrow was immaculate and deliciously slow burn—reasonable given what Morgan went through. Arrow was the most perfectly patient hero ever in letting Morgan set the pace in their relationship yet he was also the sweetest in making her feel safe every step of the way.

And the suspense aspect? It absolutely DELIVERED. I was trying to guess who the villain was the whole time, and when that was revealed, I didn't see it coming!

All in all, I'm still making my way through this series, but I can already say tha this book is the strongest contender for being my most favorite.

I can't wait to read the next Mountain Mercenary book!
