I love this book, because it is never boring nor over the top so it gets you going pretty good. Very well written plots and good diversity in all aspects: skin color, mental issues, physical disabilities and sexuality. The epilogue is not one I enjoy and it was easy to sense given Anastasia’s Christmas gift to Nate, but it didn’t go as far as it troubling their life long goals so it was more of a me problem… Probably.

This book follows Anastasia, a figure skater, and Nate, a hockey player and their relationship together. This books is awful, it's for people who evidently never went through their wattpad phase. There are too many sex scenes that contribute nothing to the story. The author creates what could be a new character development or arc just to destroy it to make Anastasia look more innocent and like the victim. Now I do like how it tackles some of the toxic diet culture around professional athletes but that was the only thing I thought it did well. It took me over 5 months to read because it was not an enjoyable read. I have never rated a book 1 star before so if that says something. The lack of communication is astounding. I do not recommend reading this book.

This book is very long and there were some things I felt could be cut out, some relationships I felt could be tamed down. But overall, I really enjoyed this! The spicy scenes were excellent. Nate as a character is phenomenal. He’s a great example of what healthy masculinity looks like without being perfect.

The story was cute, but there was definitely some things that annoyed me throughout.

Enjoyed:
Any scene with Anastasia and Nate being cute and couple-y.  She’s a smartass and he loves it.  She needs someone to take care of her and he is ready to do it.

Anastasia’s relationship with the other hockey guys, esepecially Henry.  He is so sweet and blatantly honest.  Protect him at all costs.  I totally understand wanting to marry him, in a completely unromantic way.

Annoyed:
Anastasia’s relationship with Aaron. It wouldn’t have annoyed me so much if it didn’t last until the very end of the book.  Aaron is a complete piece of shut, no redeeming qualities.  The scene at the competition crossed too many lines.
