I think this was a great book but while reading the snippets about the pregnancies and the birthing scene I couldn’t stop thinking about how it was written by a man

The guy at Seekers where I bought this book said it was better than the movie, and boy was he right!  I think the problem is, much of the tension  was because of what was not seen…but in the movie you knew there was nothing there.   In the book..there always seemed to be something..made it oh so creepy.  Great story..well told.

I did quite like the book but I did get a little confused when it kept flipping back in forth between current day and the past. But that can totally be my fault as I listened to the audiobook of it lol
