2.5, really. I think this needs a re-read, but left me cold compared to what the previous entries (vol 1., vol. 2, black dossier) left with me.

My second time reading this and - to my surprise - it really pulled together the Century trilogy together for me (to the extent that I was planning to get rid of the books until I did this reread). Mind you, Carey and Gross handled a central conceit of this volume better than Moore, but I found the emotional depth much more compelling and Orlando much less of an annoyance.

Nope. Lost me. This has no longer anything to do with the original two volumes of the League which dealt with era pieces (Moriarty, War of the Worlds) and instead becomes a mystical nonsense.

It was okay, but my lack of HP knowledge hurt my enjoyment of the book.

Hm. Loved the art, annoyed with some plot points. I find I don't like it when his interpretation of (someone else's) characters goes dramatically against their original presentation. Subvert 'em, fine. But this lacked subtlety.

Surreal, manic, fun, perverse.
Loved the final moments. Alan Moore - what a guy.
