Another good read. I honestly had more fun reading this book than the first installment, though I'm 99% sure that's because I didn't have everything spoiled for me from the movies lol - liked the plot of the first one a bit more

Here are some scattered thoughts: The references to The Odyssey were hilarious. I appreciated that they gave Clarisse some character depth, but some of her actions in this book just made me want to facepalm. Loved the focus on Annabeth's feelings and trauma - the Siren scene was heartbreaking. And I love Tyson. I wasn't expecting him to be, but Luke is actually a good and threatening antagonist. The concept of Kronos is still so dark for a middle grade book, but I'm definitely not complaining. This series is crazyreadingwithkaitlyn's review against another edition
