It's super easy to read, I did it in one day without any struggle and it was enjoyable!

I liked this one more than The Lightning Thief. I enjoyed the faster pacing of the adventure. I also really liked that the characters were better developed and their interactions with each other felt more honest and trusting. I think there were a few things that didn't age particularly well but generally the writing was more fine tuned than book one.

A good sequal. Very similar to the first.

This book like the first one, was super slow in the beginning. Besides a few minor things it really didn't pick up until 50%. Some of the things in this book also unfortunately didn't age well. But that all being said I did enjoy this book & found myself flying through the last 40% & the ending of this one has me eager to pick up the next!I also loved Tyson as a character so much & hope to see him in later books & thought he was a great side character to help Percy's growth as a character!

I love this series, and this is far from my first read through. For some reason Sea of Monsters always leaves me with a little something missing. I'm not sure what it is, but even when I was younger this was always my least favorite of the bunch. That being said, I still love the series overall and this is still a really good book.
