I didn't really expect it to be good. But I thought it would readable and maybe kind of fun. It was terrible.

Read this around 8-10 years ago and I remember absolutely loving it (I had a much braver, bloodier and scarier book taste when I was 13-15). Considering rereading it some time and if I still like it maybe get on with the series!

(No rating because it’s been some time)

More Tarantino than the da Vinci code which I was pleased about! Some very odd bits but quite humourous in parts, really enjoyed it.

Like alot of readers I was intrigued by the annonymous author. I am really glad that I let curisoity get the better of me when I picked up this book.
Full of action, mystery, and magical creatires it was a fantastic read and kept me engaged all the way to the end. Any story with an elvis impersonating bounty Hunter is sure to have some strange goings on to keep a reader entertained !!

READ IN DUTCH

The book with no name; Author: Anonymous. How useful in a bookshop?!

Weird, absurd, this can't be true. Several of my thoughts while reading this book. Because it is weird and absurd. It truly is. But, on the other hand, it is also intriguing. And I have to admit that I really liked it.

It's - I think - quite safe to say that this is a parody on almost all popular genres today. There is detective/thriller, saving the world, mysterious vampire-like creatures, etc. all in a Western setting. One of the better parodies I've read.

And, I recently found out this apparently is a series (The Bourbon Kid), so now I'm going to search for book #2 The Eye of the Moon...
