I loved Elementary Romantic Calculus so much!! This is the 6th and final book in the series about women in STEM careers but it’s truly a standalone and you could jump in right here.
Mia has just finished her PhD in Mathematics and is ready to take the next step in her 20 year career plan. Unfortunately the job opportunities just aren’t there - her only option is to take a job teaching at a small college in rural Texas. That isn’t part of the plan but okay - Mia can do it for one year and then get back on track, moving on to a more prestigious school.
While her plan is to just stick it out for a year - she ends up being pleasantly surprised as she gets to know her new town - from her landlady Birdie to her new friend Andie to Josh - the dairy farmer who makes artisanal goat cheese and gives her butterflies in her stomach when she sees him. But is it even worth pursuing anything when she knows she’ll be gone at the end of the school year?
I loved this book so much - it was my favorite from the series. I loved Mia and Josh and the chemistry between them. I have been craving cheese the whole time I read this. And I’m super excited for the author’s next series which is going to include characters we meet in this book that I can’t wait to learn more about.
Thank you to Susannah Nix for the free review copy. Highly recommend!!!
