Ugh. Enjoyable twisty-turny story. But some of the characters, especially Taylor, were completely insufferable for the vast majority of the book. Couple that with long stretches of bloated, dragging storytelling and it was a slog to finish this. By the time the story truly heated up I was hate reading and hoping for tragic endings all around.

This is my second Cathryn Grant book recently and I've taken issues with her characterization both times. Probably just not an author for me. I do not recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 This was a strange and dark story. It was a quick read and kept me entertained. (Kindle Unlimited)

I didn't have much time to read this as quickly as I'd like. Thus made it hard to follow.

I enjoyed the first 70% of this book very much. Told from multiple points of view the story is about the disappearance of a 14 year old girl - runaway ... abducted...? The story was fast paced and the writing style kept me engaged. I found the ending over dramatic and unbelievable which spoiled it a little for me.

What a fantastic book. Kept me gripped throughout and the ending had me reeling. Some parts were slightly predictable but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the different perspectives and it wasn't too confusing at all. Very good read!

I chose to read The Good Neighbor because it was listed as my favorite kind of book-thriller! And it was absolutely thrilling.

The story follows a group of neighbors after a 13-year old girl who lives in their neighborhood is abducted from her room one night. I liked the plot lines- family secrets coming to life are so exciting! The characters were pretty well developed. And the twists were good, even if I did know they were coming.
