THIS IS MY FAVOURITE BOOK OF ALL TIME (including Frankenstein). It may be a tough read at first, and all the character's names are difficult to grasp. But it captures the ideals of morality so well. It did send me into a bit of a slump, so I recommend to not read it unless you want to have an existential crisis and rethink your whole entire life. It's very dark and challenging to read, but impossible to put down. I must say Dostoyevsky did a very good job at this book.

Dostojevskijs språk är så vackert, men kära nån, han behöver nog lite terapi (Raskolnikov också, definitivt. Kanske alla karaktärer. Ingen mår bra. Alla mår piss). Även om jag älskade boken, hela sättet den var skriven på, och hur man på så många sätt sympatiserade med en så typisk antihjälte, var den också helt jävla sjuk. Trauma. På riktigt.

I honestly, don’t even know where to begin with this book, I don’t think I’ll be able to make a cohesive review cause there was SO much to take in but this book was AMAZING, I was most definitely intimidated by the font and the page size but once you get into it, you get completely lost in the story, some may consider this a slow paced read... and it is, but the plot and the themes or religion, consciousness, crime and what it means to bring justice, what would happen if humanity thought they were above crime, it tackles those themes so well that you don’t feel like you are reading a 656 page worth of a book. 5/5!!
