This was absolutely wonderful. Friends to lovers and forced proximity? Sign me up. I loved the connection between Elle and Conor, they had so much sexual tension, and their friendship was amazing, and it was just so great. The story got really intense, there's a lot of underlying danger because Elle's ex-fiancé is after her, and I typically hate darker romances like that because it makes me anxious, but Elle and Conor's relationship was so beautiful that it was worth it to handle.
High stakes, high heat, and high emotional impact? YES. You all need to read this!!! (Make sure to check the trigger warnings though, because it gets really, really intense.)

I loved the storyline and the character development in it, I loved how we saw elle become stronger and more confident and how she did it all by herself, I loved everything about elle tbh and ABSOLUTELY LOVED the fact that the heroine this time is not blond with blue-green eyes

A very high heat kinky contemporary erotic romance with suspense element and a shedload of angst. I will freely admit it isn't all my bag, but that's a YMMV issue: if you like possessiveness/virginity kink, you will be in heaven. It's very well-executed, with a delightful pair of leads (big hot half-native Hawaiian hero, sexy fat half-Korean heroine), fluently written, well-drawn minor characters, and a driving plotline. Lots and lots of very kinky sex with a strong feminist slant throughout, including emphasis on consent, communication, honesty, and being sensible about bodies.
