I Love It Though by Alli Warren

This book took me awhile to get through because at times the dense language makes the meaning hard to glean, but when the poems worked they worked very well. This felt a lot more adult than Alli's last book, common things of mindless work, debt, and of course the love of the Bay Area and food.

I love it though too. Sifting and riffing the idiomatic, Warren gets into the ridges and clefts between clinching and clenching, stalkings and stockings..."what lies between / want and need / in gutteral gesture / in coated pluming."
