This book was a completely pleasant surprise!

Adults! Adults who communicate! Adults with real life issues! A believable plot!

I really liked all three of the main characters. I thought they were relatable and they felt like real people. Nothing about their *ahem* situation required me to suspend disbelief to any degree.

Despite each of them having their own issues that were loosely related but largely separate, up until the climax (
Spoilerat a minimum Juliette is an idiot and I cannot fathom how she for a single moment didn't see a million red flags surrounding Cyrus' spying plan
), it wasn't even too dramatic or too cluttered.

The writing was good as well. I wasn't rolling my eyes at internal monologues or dialogue. Everything flowed.

The only thing holding me back from a full five stars is that this book isn't going to haunt my dreams for days. It was a fun read, but it's not getting real estate in my heart, if that makes sense.

Also, I was really craving more Sebastian/Bailey. I feel like we got a good bit of Bailey/Daniel's relationship and even Daniel/Sebastian's friendship, but I wanted to see more Sebastian and Bailey hamming it up.

The Bet – Bailey’s ex is a jerk, so she decides to join another team on his poker league to beat him and shut his arrogant face up. The team she joins includes best friends Sebastian and Daniel. Daniel is a billionaire having issues with his board of directors and his uncle. Sebastian’s publicist wants him to open a franchise, but his restaurants in NY are having personnel issues. Daniel makes a bet that Bailey can beat her ex in the pool league, and Daniel and Sebastian are making sure she has all the coaching she needs to succeed. So of course there is going to be drama! Cute drama though! Nice little plot and great cast of characters! Happy Reading!

Great story

The plot was perfect, the characters developed well and the love was amazing. This was my first MFM and I’m hooked!

I found this book to be good. It was fast paced but lacked some of the main storyline but then ended like it was completed. I found it missing some info at points but there was just enough context to make sense.

Betting on Bailey is another one of those on a whim purchases I've made lately. Until this novel, I'd never heard of Tara Crescent but can't understand why. Her writing is the type that pulls you in and just might set you on fire by the ending. I had a love/hate for this novel because there were a lot of parts that just didn't flow quite like I'd have hoped. I did, however, enjoy it overall and am curious to more by Crescent.

That being said--threesomes. It's one of those fantasies that just sort of sticks in your mind. Betting on Bailey is not my first experience with the topic when it comes to literature. But it is one of the better ones. You've got three intriguing characters who have off the charts chemistry; pulling you in from the moment they meet and keeping you in place firmly. Did I find their relationship to be entirely plausible? Not quite. Did I still enjoy it? Yes.

One of the things that bothered me about Betting on Bailey was how it flowed overall. It felt a bit strange, the way everything developed and grew from one thing to another. That's the only reason I'm giving it a three-star instead of four or even a five. I found some of the interactions to be a bit strange or lack that extra kick that would set it apart. Beyond that, I'm not going to lie to you: a great deal of it felt unbelievable and unrealistic.

This story was absurdly adorable. I’m not one to read ✨spicy✨ novels, but the sample was enough for me to start this book. Yeah, the hawt scenes are nice but the relationship they have takes the cake. It’s nice to see how they are together and how they behave alone / in their space. This story was simply adorable

The smutty mood continued and picked another book from Kindle Unlimited to give a chance to another author. This time I enjoyed the writing and the plot of the book and the characters are good.
"The Bet" was my first read from this author. I was impressed. The overall quality of writing was really good, especially for an MFM story. Usually, on the quick and cheesy side, The Bet, DIDN'T fall into that category. Exciting events and several tense moments with life-changing choices that need to take place.
I am continuing with the series because I want to find out menage stories of the other members of The Thursday Night Club that takes place on Mondays, and their love interests.
