I loved this medical romance! It was full of all the drama and romance, like we’ve seen in Grey’s Anatomy, there’s cheating, backstabbing, friends and enemies, good and bad doctors, lots of gossip, lots of sexy times and a guy who is so much in love that he’s willing to do all he can to get his woman.

Initially, the story is riveting because we have Grace, a second year resident in OB/GYN , working under the attending Dr. Carter Fritz, of the famous Boston Billionaires. Grace and Carter have known each other all their lives since their parents were friends. Also, Grace is best friends with Oliver, a younger Fritz doctor brother. From the get go, I could tell there was hot chemistry between Grace and Carter, but Grace is engaged to Tony and she’s a loyal, faithful fiancee. Until the day she finds Tony is not so faithful and it’s fair game for Carter.

The story is super entertaining, with passion, sex, fights, all these between Carter and Grace. Both are stubborn and strong, excellent in their work ethic, competent to no end. I loved the parts where their pagers would ring and they would run to get into the action. We learn a little about the other Fritz brothers who are all doctors, and their mother who is having health issues. There’s a strong love between all these brothers and the women they’re with. There’s tension with the bad doctor trying to poison everyone against Grace, her friends who are nurses in the hospital trying to set her up with a fling, Carter trying to control everything, Grace resisting all his advances. It’s all a lot of fun.

The pace slagged a little in the middle of the story, then all of a sudden, it took speed and went sonic with the intrigue and the drama. Very riveting and entertaining!

If I thought I was obsessed with this woman before, that has nothing on me now. I’m consumed. Owned.

This book is a 4.5 star read for me because I did what I normally don't do with a series I'm enjoying - I read the blurb and the blurb is more of a synopsis and so I was waiting for things to happen which took me out of the book a few times.

Overall, I quite liked Grace & Carter's story. They know one another because of Grace's friendship with Carter's brother Oliver - but have never been anything more than passing friends until they become work colleagues and the attraction between these two spikes. I enjoyed that a lot of this book took place in the hospital that Carter & Grace work at - I loved seeing these two as OB-GYNs and felt this added to the story.

A great addition to the series and one I'm sure to enjoy again!

J Saman has done it again! Another absolutely stunning book. I was hoping to love this as much as Doctor Scandalous and I was not disappointed. Grace and Carter are both such gorgeous, stubborn, kick-ass characters - their love story was beautiful and flawed, angsty and delicious. And the heat between them was off the charts. I just loved it and feel so privileged to have received an ARC copy to review.

“It’s like I told you last night. There is no one else for me but you. That means I slay all who attempt to fuck with you. I destroy any who want to hurt you. You are who I kill, maim, and die for, sweetheart. And I will fight ruthlessly toward that death if it means you come out standing on the other side.”

I loved this so much!! J. Saman is slowly but surely winning the no-return way to my heart!!

This author is becoming one of my must one-click now guilty pleasures. There is jyst something about the way that she writes. Great Characters, especially Carter,. Loved seeing cameos of Oliver again. Looking forward to Landon's book next.

There were a few moments that I wished had been fleshed out more but all and all a solid book.

J. Saman is one of my favorite authors!

Grace is Carter’s little brother’s best friend and they’ve grow up close together. Now, Carter is Grace’s attending while she is a 3rd year resident. But Carter has been harboring a crush on Grace ever since he got back to Boston. After Grace accidentally uncovers her fiancé has been cheating on her she winds up on Carter’s doorstep and allows her to move in while she gets back on her feet.

This is Book 2 in the series set all on the Fritz brothers (who are all medical doctors) I’m definitely going to go back and read book 1 which is Oliver’s (Grace’s best friend) book and find out more about the rest of the brothers.
