I recently took up skateboarding and really liked it, so I thought it'd be a good idea to read the life story of the world's best skateboarder. However, I was a disappointed. This book is quick and easy to read, but at the same time, it tends to get boring. Not a lot of action, just a lot of talking. Some of the stories he tells don't even have to do with skateboarding, nor his life as a whole. This book wasn't torture to read, I just don't feel like I got anything out of it.

The most famous skateboarder in the world tells his own story with the help of Sean Mortimer. This is a story of success and failure. Boys will love this book, especially if they have any interest in skating. The book is witten for younger readers. A great way to get boys to read nonfiction literature.
