I love Leigh Kelsey books and I loved the first one but this one was not her best work. The dialogue was ridiculous and felt forced most of the time and I live the characters but the plot was all over the place, it was like she had a whole lot of ideas but had no way to bring them together and just ended up making a mess.

I am all for badass female characters but that was literally Rebel's only personality in this book and yes we get it that she is not the poster child for sanity but again it didn't have to be her whole personality.

All in all the problem with this book was that it had no natural flow, everything just seemed messy and all over the place and I get where she was trying to go with the book but she didn't quite get there.

Leigh Kelsey will still be an automatic read for me though, this is just not one of her better works but book one was really good though.

Overall there was much to like about this duet but I just found myself bored by the smut at the end which isn’t my norm. the plot in this book was fantastic and so intriguing but I wish there was more to there one on one relationships with her as well as stuff about the Discarded Society. I never say this but I think this would have been a great trilogy.

When I grow up

I think I want to be Rebel when I grow up. That's all. Read this series. It's in the top 3 most entertaining series that I've read thus year.

Great conclusion.

Rebel still has to do the trials even though some one is out to kill her . Assassins galore try to kill her but they all fail thanks to Rebel and her mates. When Rebel finds out who put the hit out on her she’s shocked and hen she finds out the reason she’s livid.

This was even better than the 1st book 😍 And now the duet is completed. I wanted more 🥺

The relationships were amazing. Loved watching them develop. Brannigan joined the harem (cute sexy librarian) 🥰 And the sm*t scenes were 🥵🥵🔥🌶

The plot was mind blowing. I loved all the emotions and I adored that ending. Really want more of this. At least some bonus scenes 🥲💖
