3.5 stars. i’m good at keeping grudges against characters, so i will probably never like Lena and any book with her in it will probably loose a star. i just don’t like her at all, and i hated how she talked to Sara. ugh

I loved revisiting the characters that Slaughter has created. She knows how to write a good edge-of-your-seat thriller. I appreciated that this one had a little less gore and graphic violence than most of the others, even though there were still moments that were horrific. Slaughter inserts enough lighter moments and laughs to make the darkness bearable.
