I wanted more of their relationship and the journey to find her didn't entertain me after awhile... I just needed more and the ending was like WHYYY but I can understand if others like it

I loved this so much. I also liked that there was the little bit with Adam Wilde, which answers what happened to him after If I Stay/Where She Went. Kudos to Gayle Forman for sneaking that in.

This book was just not as amazing as the first book. It was pretty slow and there were a lot of distractions that kind of felt pointless to me. I did really enjoy learning more about willem but I felt like it really picked up at the very end when all the pieces started to match up. It was an okay read for me.

It was incredibly frustrating finishing "Just one day" with a slight cliffhanger and not having the next book pick up right then. I just really feel like I needed more than I got.

Just One Year has been on pre-order ever since that was possible, and when it arrived on my kindle I was so happy!

Full review to come soon.

So much better than Just One Day. Also, I feel it's important to add that I will continue to picture Willem as Gaspard Ulliel and NOT the late Heath Ledger, as implied in this book.
