Lea Lamb and Austin Wolf were young when they fell in love. They never imagined the future could hold anything other than together-forever.
When Lea’s father dies in a tragic fishing accident, she's crushed under the weight of her grief and catches a glimpse of another type of future, one she knows she's not strong enough to face.
Austin is angry. For the past fifteen years, he's believed the woman he loved with every ounce of his soul left him without so much as a backwards glance.
When Lea unexpectedly returns to their hometown, all the years of heartache inside Austin bubbles to the surface and presents itself as blinding rage.
Faced with the truth about the past, a newly discovered secret, these former lovers will learn that if they want to have any chance at the future they’d given up on all those years ago, they will have to rescue one another from drowning in pain so debilitating it will leave them both fighting to breathe.
Bad Ass Review:
The Wolf:
Austin knew Lea was his forever but after a horrible accident he loses her. Years later she shows up to help her mom through terminal cancer only to discover some wounds never heal.
The Lamb:
Lea moves back home after a failed marriage and to help her mother cope with cancer. One look at Austin and old feeling start to rise.
I enjoyed there second chance at love, and there plight to get there. The book was well written, and engrossing. The drama was minimal because these two pretty much belonged together. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and once they found each other again the chemistry soared. Four stars of entertainment!

This was a sweet sad story about a second chance love.
Lea has to come home for family reasons, only to be in the same town as the one that got way.
Austin knew Lea was coming back but he is still so hurt over the past.
It really was a sweet tale of love and healing. Even though Lea goes through a lot I never thought she was weak or a weak kind of character I think she just didn’t know how to deal with everything that gets shot her way.
Austin I found to be awesome and understanding. I loved that he was so good about everything. I kind of wished he had gotten mad a time or two though, I think that would have made the story just that much more. Like he was fighting to breathe as well. You get the sense he is but you don’t feel it like you do with Lea.
Over all I very much enjoyed this book. :)
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I love a second chance romance! This was a sweet story of young love with a tragic past. I really liked the characters and I LOVED that they were mature with the way they handled everything (as adults) and didn't cause unnecessary drama when it wasn't needed. This book left me smiling with a happy heart! Great writing and great narration of the audiobook!

Their rekindling when she returns to her small Alaskan hometown was heart warming and emotional! The dishonesty that drove them apart was gut wrenching. But both characters came to the realization that no matter how much time and distant was put between them, they’d always find their way back to each other.
Austin’s gentleness and caring nature towards Lea was so sweet and endearing. I loved how he always took care of her, even when he thought he hated her. He always put her first, even when they were miles apart.

First off I would like to say a huge thank you to Aurora for the dedication for my aunt and uncle, it means so much.
I could not put this down. I loved every second of it. Made me laugh, made me cry it gives you all the feels. Austin and Lea have such a beautiful story that was amazing to read.
I have read everything this author has written and each one just gets so much better. Can't wait to read who's next.
