Jane (h) leads a group of humans who seek refuge with the Burning Sun Clan and will do whatever she has to to defend her people. Ignaur (H) steps in to aid her when she’s set upon by a pack of wolves that she took on single handedly so the other human might reach safety. A Jane recovers from her injuries, she and Ignaur begin to get to know one another. Jane and Ignaur don’t see eye-to-eye- when she wants to continue her role as fighter by joining the orc patrol and continuing her role as protector. Things heat up between Jane and Ignaur in this orc-human romance with a bit of danger and violence.

Sweet story between Jane, a fierce leader of a group of humans looking for refuge and Ignaur, a scarred warrior. A good continuation of the series. Nice balance of action, romance, and steam.
