can't say I particularly liked the characters but the story has sufficient twists to keep me entertained. first half slower than second and second was definitely more enjoyable. 3.5 stars would be more accurate rating.

I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK. It captured me right from the beginning, with the husband's eerily detailed description of his wife's skull. I hesitate to say more, because the less you know beforehand, the better. I can't wait to read Gillian Flynn's other novels.
