Oh Holy greek myth babies! Just when I think I couldn't love Aiden anymore than I do, well I do lol. This novella is a fantastic bridge to the next novel....now let's see how impatient the next few months will be waiting for it

Aiden, I am so sorry! So, so sorry!
What you're suffering...and what Alex is suffering...gosh, it is just not fair!

But she loves you, even when she is under Seth's influence. She loves you, even though she is on the elixir. She loves you, even though she can't remember who she is. That means a lot...

RECOMMENDED TO READ THIS SHORT STORY FIRST BEFORE PROCEEDING TO APOLLYON. IF THIS BOOK DOESN"T MAKE YOU SWITCH TEAM,Whispers..FROM TEAM SETH TO TEAM AIDEN, I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL.

Elixer starts of soon after Deity ended only froma different point of view. We finally get to read a bit from Aidens pov, which is really interesting.

I haven't read Appolyon yet, but I do think that this novella is a must read if you like this series, because lots of things happen in this short story and it's quite some time later at the end of this novella. I liked reading it and it was interesting and luckily it isn't so short as some other short stories I have read. It actually read just like the rest of the books, only shorter in lenght. I think Armentrout really manages to write short stories really well, because it doens't feel like a short story. The ending of Elixer really makes me curious to what will happen in the next book, but I won't go as far as to say it's really a cliffhanger, but maybe that's just me.

The best thing about this book is reading from Aiden's pov, I had some difficulties understanding his actions in the other book, but now we actually get his point of view. I really got a better sense of who Aiden is and who he cares about.

To conclude: a great addition to the story, it was nice reading things from Aiden's pov. It doens't read like a short story and actually adds something to the series.

What a fabulous novella that really does compliment the series.

The novella was great. I enjoyed getting to read the book from Aiden’s point of view.

*Possible spoilers* this book broke my heart. Seeing how much Aiden loves Alex and doing everything in his power to help her, while there were others going against her.

I am absolutely loving this series.
