KU. 4 stars. This is the first mafia book I’ve found since the dark verse series that was done well. A strong FMC, no insta love/obsession, semi-slow burn, dual pov, and an actually interesting plot. Not my favorite and there were so many grammer and spelling issues. I understand that things get missed occasionally but there was one or more every chapter. It was really frustrating because it instantly pulled me out of the story.

The characters were fine but extremely predictable. Maybe there will be more character development in the next book but I won't be reading it

Good book

I enjoyed this book, but about 3/4 of the way through it started to be a bit much. The same scenes over and over in the span of a week. The same phrases were repeated over and over and it became annoying. I liked the story and the ending, a strong female character with a sexy billionaire is perfection.
I think it could have been trimmed down a bit and different wording and phrases used to describe or explain things.

I really loved the supporting characters and at the end I swore I'd stop reading if one of them died.

It was not a litteraly exploit. But still got me hooked.
It’s the span of one week and so much happens it’s insane.
Majors use of caps everywhere that gradually got on my nerves.
I can’t believe there is 3 more books but I will read the next one.
