OK. Interesting concept and done well, but something was missing. I think it was that the entire book was the same concept on repeat: girl in coma, flashbacks to her life before that gives insight into her life, grappling with the decision to stay or to go. Her life pre-crash was ridiculously perfect, which I guess was to highlight to tragedy of the accident, but made it almost boring. Definitely funny parts, a lot of sad. But nothing sensational.

The author makes you wanna read till the end without stopping. and the beautiful detials of the surgery's and music bravo. This book makes you think about your life and that you need to fully enjoy your life i had that feeling because tomorrow will never come. You believe you are Mia herself. And that's what makes you think about that. The drama and love sometimes i just needed to cry but i didn't ahah :p this book is just fantastic

It was alright. I'm really not a big fan of books that go back and forth from the story to memories. I understand why that was the case, but it still managed to bug me.
However, it's honestly a sweet story that I am very glad I read. It is an easy read and I will most likely get the next books to see what happens.

Okay, the playing fast and loose with the geography of Oregon I can understand, but the culture of Oregon presented in this book I absolutely cannot stomach. Forman repeatedly uses "hipster" and "punk" interchangeably. NO WAY. Ask ANYONE in western Oregon, where the book is set, and they can tell you point by point how hipsters and punks differ in important ways. The label "hipster" in Oregon conjures up specific, and usually unpleasant, connotations, whereas "punk" carries no such negative baggage. So as I read the book, and Forman kept referring to characters as hipsters, I found myself disliking them just because they were hipsters! Perhaps in Brooklyn, where Forman resides, hipsters and punks are all part of the same scene. In that case, she should have set her frickin book in New York.
That said, I found the book interesting and engaging, despite the pretentious main character.

the book was good but it ended way to abruptly. i literally looked to see if i was somehow missing some pages ... but overall it was a good, light read.

I don't believe that suicide is right (no offense to anyone), and if you ask me why? I suggest you read the book, and understand it too. Life's a gift, an opportunity, while on the other hand, there is total oblivion, or i should say hell, if we are talking in beliefs, but here's the truth, life sucks, but just as john green stated through his character (respectively, augustus waters), in TFIOS, "we don't get to choose if we get hurt in this world, but you do have some say in who hurts you". And believe it or not, long before i even knew about a author named john green, i feared oblivion too, just as augustus waters did. My whole point? We all die, but at least we take what we are given, not just throw the task away in fear of being hurt.

The beginning was slow for me, but the last 2/3 kept me engrossed. The ending was unexpected and I was surprised by how perfect I thought it was.
