Often times I take at least an hour or two to pick out books I want to read so I can enjoy what I read. This is one of those books I avoid when I spend that time searching. This is a testimony that I should keep doing that. But the ending was okay. The fluff was ok if you consider there to be any.

About halfway through the book she changes for the better, she matures and starts trying to look at things from others perspectives. I find myself liking this version of her much more. I see some pieces of me in Julia, which may not help me reconcile with myself, but may have helped a teenage me.
The storyline about her sister personally felt anticlimactic and not what I had predicted but that doesn’t mean it was bad.
Overall, the book was a page turner, I personally was just looking for more from these characters.
Moderate: Death, Gun violence, and Suicide attempt
Minor: Gore
