My favourite was An Unexpected Specter, and I also really liked Makh Jchi, Mu, The Woman Who Waits (hell of a twist in this one!), and Bob Voyage My Chains. Ultimately, unfortunately, I didn’t like this one as much as Power & Magic. It’s a 3.5/5 for me.

Two confirmed trans characters. Like P&M most comics contain f/f pairings but not all, and identities are never given.

I was really hoping that there would be continuations of some of the stories from the first volume but there wasnt. There were so many stories fit in this that nothing had time to be flushed out.

About half of these stories end ambiguously, or unhappily, which is not really what I look for in a book. Still a worthwhile read, just maybe not one to go for if you're already feeling down.

There are a few really nice selections in here, but less of this collection hits it out of the park like the other two power and magic anthologies.

There were a couple stories I really loved but on the whole, I wish the whole thing had just been More Queer? Or had less stories with more depth - many of them felt unfinished or just... lacking.

The art is pretty though and of course I always love supporting P&M Press!

Content warnings are listed in the contents page of the book, which was a nice touch.
