A great little collection. I happened to find this after a number of Dan Fields stories were featured on Nocturnal Transmissions, a horror podcast, and I'm glad I picked it up.
Addicting and really fun. There is some awesome range in this collection. It makes me harken back to Stephen King's early short story collections.
"Do Not Resuscitate" somehow managed to be both absurd yet really freaky and is a good opener to the rest of the collection.
"A Witches Work" was an incredible stand out story that I could read an entire novel of.
Highly recommend to any fans of short horror
