I feel disappointed. The idea behind the book is cool, I liked Riordan's previous novels, but this one was just a bit too full of stereotypes where the female characters were concerned (shopping! being charming! being manipulative! catfights!), and I was never quite as gripped as by the Percy books.

Might read the next one, but not straight away.
