Darkest Fear by Harlan Coben

Another typical Myron Bolitar story with his trademark humour and his gigantic Batman-complex. Filled with great conversations between him and Win, between him and Esperanza. I love the characters and I love the incredible plottwists. Harlan Coben keeps surprising me, no matter how many books of his I've read. This was a pretty emotional one as well. Fanconi is not a well known disease but one of my sister's friends actually suffers from it. It's a pretty horrendous disease and there's no way to cure it 100% - I think Harlan did a great job describing the disease and what it's like to have to live with it. I absolutely admire him for it.

Plus, I really really really enjoyed the personal aspect of the story and I hope that this'll play a huge part in the rest of the series.

The further you get into this series the better the writing. This one beat the last “. Myron gets a call from an ex then she just gate crashes him and she has some devastating news. Taken aback he is lost for words. This woman married one of his ex rivals as a basketball player. The one person who got someone to do his dirty work to stop myron in his tracks. They ask for his help and Myron and win and esperanza all get involved. A good storyline with a few twists .

Love Myron Bolitar and sidekick Win, so I grab any that Coben puts out. This has Myron facing the task of finding a missing bone marrow donor for a teen whom he is suddenly told is his. Lots of twists and turns of course, and Win fun. The reader was pretty good.

Another Myron Bolitar novel done! I absolutely love them and can’t read them fast enough and Darkest Fear was quite a creepy thriller. I love it though.
