I am not sure how I feel about this trilogy. The writing is very smooth and I think that's the best part of this trilogy. I found Tally a bit annoying and I found myself not caring for many of the characters in the series. I didn't really felt the chemistry between Tally and Zane or Tally and David. The chemistry was lacking.

I feel as if Tally was going through survival training instead. She was in the woods a lot, and she had to like learn how to survive out there more. I think she spend a lot of time in the wild.

I liked this book much better than Pretties, although it was quite disturbing that some of the characters felt the need to cut themselves in order to think clearly. Overall, it was a very entertaining read.
